Sünching-Manuscript, 1670-82. This Suite was written for barytone and viola da gamba with the peculiarity that the bowed barytone part is superseded in the middle of the Passagalia by a treble part. In this edition, the two barytone lines are assigned to an additional viola da gamba and the basso continuo, and a change from the bass to a treble viol is suggested at the above-mentioned place. The music is charming and many-faceted.
