One of eight cantatas Telemann wrote for the city of Danzig when he was in his eighties. "Jesus meine Zuversicht" (Jesus my trust) is scored for SATB/soloists/chorus, with flute, oboe/oboe d'amore, bassoon, strings and continuo. It uses two chorale melodies in alternate movements as the canti fermi; one movement is built on both melodies. Score.
