The final volume of this edition includes eleven sonatas of greater difficulty than those of volumes I and II. The sonata No. 184 in this volume is played beautifully on modern viola on MSR Classics MS1379: all of the sonatas in our edition are very suitable for the viola, as the viol parts are entirely in alto clef.
