Giving a musical impression of a storm was a popular theme in Baroque music. Originally written as a flute concerto, Joris Van Goethem (of the sadly disbanded Flanders Recorder Quartet) has arranged La Tempesta beautifully for Alto, Tenor and Bass recorders. Clearly written with score and separate parts this is exceedingly good value at £7.50.
